Finally they sentence someone who is Hero for all and messenger for some. There are few cases in the past which certainly raise a big question mark on the judiciary system, e.g. Salman Khan's hit and run case, black buck case.

Hope all the judges will take some motivation from judge P D Kode and will not hesitate while giving the judgement. Gujjars siege of all the entry points to the capital, blocked roads, more than 20 people dead in a week of clashes, which began in Rajasthan but have now spread to all parts of the country.
Whole country is burning over the Gujjars controversy and the reason is they want to be part of Schedule Tribe to get caste benefits. They are already getting the benefits of reservation as part of OBC. Now Meena samaj start protest against the Gujjars, as they don’t want to consider Gujjars as part of ST.
What is this? Where we are heading? On one hand we were shouting against Jade Goody as she made some racial comments on Shilpa Shetty and on the other side we are demonstrating the riots over reservation. And in the whole process the politicians are mum, not a single appreciable step to stop all these communal uproar.
Actually they don’t want to stop all this, as this is what they want to do to win the elections. But, where is Mr. Arjun Singh? Union Minister for Human Resource Development, a biggest supporter of all this quota system rather he is the one who started all this by demanding the quota in all sectors. But where they failed? Why they lost? Some of the reasons according to me are,
1.Wrong selection of team: - Inclusion of Harbhajan Singh, excluding Anil Kumble despite of his performance against Bermuda. And retaining Robin Uthappa instead of taking Irfan Pathan, which would have got them an extra bawler and batsman.
2.Decision to field first
3.Giving so many extra runs in the crucial time
4.Last 5 over Sri Lanka scored 45 runs.
5.Too many experiments in the batting order
6.Failure of key players like Saurav, Sachin and Yuvarj.

There are many reasons for this failure. Surely Indian team need to find the root cause of their failure in WC07.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5887312431131290953.post-66014106169553402822007-01-11T22:24:00.000-08:002007-01-11T22:39:01.667-08:00Floating leafHave a look at the new picture that I photographed "Floating leaf J cool" right... I admit it is not that great, like the pictures you might get to see in the Google image search for floating leaf, but still I think this is one of my best catches.
The search result shows you so many floating leaf images but all leafs are floating on the clear water. However, the leaf in my picture is floating on the muddy water. The show is filled with full of emotional drama in short all the Nauntaki came together in one show. Celebrities (of C grade category) like Rakhi Sawant, Kashmira Shah, and Anupama Verma provide needed masala to make people watch the show. . Oops! I forgot to mention Bobby Darling, who request all the viewers to SMS her/him, he sorry I must call she sorry he, don't know what to call him he or she, coz he is part of girl camp but shaves regularly [: D] and playing this game to win the prize money to change his/her sex permanently (the whole therapy is very costly and this prize money of 50 lakh is the only hope for him/her).
In short, ‘being sick is creative’ this is the only funda behind the show.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5887312431131290953.post-70981161192645116122006-10-30T05:58:00.000-08:002006-10-30T06:03:53.803-08:00Well deserved loss!!!A well deserved loss and a welcome exit from ICC champion’s trophy.
There is no point in appointing highly paid coach, psychologist, and physical trainer, as there are no signs of improvement in the players' form or technique or attitude. The players recognized in the world cricket as best batsman are playing like the players in domestic cricket (may be domestic players have good technique to play) away from the body, struggling to hit the ball towards boundary. Same is the case with bowlers in the team balling like they are balling in the nets. It’s very frustrating now a days to watch Indian team with drooping shoulders, tired faces, no commitment, nothing. They are good in acting and dancing coz they are spending more time in front of camera and not in the nets.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5887312431131290953.post-71957668628965409252006-10-10T07:24:00.000-07:002006-10-10T07:28:35.201-07:00Shades...

Different shades of sky always fascinate me, how can I miss this moment, captured this at 4pm evening on the way home from the sinhagad

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5887312431131290953.post-42508216018952733852006-10-06T06:45:00.000-07:002006-10-06T06:46:24.201-07:00Mera Bharat Mahan....Is it ok to forgive the person who’s involved in the attack on parliament? if the decision is in favor of him then tomorrow all the terrorists or anti-socialists will demand the same treatment, and what’s wrong in demanding clemency on their act, because in our country religion or I would say being part of minority comes first before the national interest. It started on 15th August and ended on 26th September so in a way it was a small trip compared to my last trip of full 85 days.
On my way home, this time, I took a halt of 2 days at my friends place in Buffalo NY. It was nice to meet my childhood friends after a gap of almost 5-6 yrs. Niagara Falls was also one of the main attractions besides meeting old friends. The fall is very close to my friend’s house, so got a chance to visit the beautiful place couple of times.
Niagara Falls is renowned for its beauty, and is both a valuable source of hydroelectric power and a challenging project for environmental preservation. A popular tourist site for over a century, the natural wonder is shared between the twin cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario and Niagara Falls, New York. There are total 3 falls at Niagara American Fall, Horseshoe Fall and Bridal Veil Falls. It was a really a pleasant experience to watch Niagara Falls so closely.
Overall this small trip to Niagara made a permanent mark in my memories, meeting old friends after a long gap and visiting one of the wonder places in the world. In Marathi there is a phrase “Dugdha Sharkhara Yog” means all the good things happened at the same time.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5887312431131290953.post-19074322883452419652006-09-16T10:39:00.000-07:002006-09-16T10:45:37.357-07:00Tendulkar is back??Don’t expect any thing big from Tendulkar at least for 4-5 matches in the current DLF series. This is what he is doing consistently, I have no doubts about his credibility or his talent but his lack of consistency and his past records are made me think so. No wonder if tomorrow people start blaming him as they blamed Ganguly. So I don’t think he is back with something new :) he is the same old Tendulkar.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5887312431131290953.post-86854978875442032532006-09-10T01:33:00.000-07:002006-09-10T01:35:23.058-07:00Sausalito

This is my second US visit to be specific this is my second visit to California. California the most ecologically diverse state in United State, famous for its sunny climate, strikingly beautiful natural features, including an expansive central valley, tall mountains, arid deserts, and hundreds of miles of scenic coastline.
On the Labor Day long weekend we went to Sausalito city. Sausalito lying at the north end of the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the wealthiest cities in the CA state.
Picturesque Sausalito is one of the tourist attractions, and while moving on the street you get the clear idea of cities wealthiest culture. We have seen beautiful bungalows facing the bay from where one can easily take a view of a San Francisco city. I was completely stunned by the beauty and richness of the city. Sausalito is definitely one of the beautiful places I have ever visited.
Unknownnoreply@blogger.com4
